Very good tube. This one is from 1959 with D-getter and Foil strip (I have no idea why they did this kind of getter, but both US and European tubes from early times have it). Great sound – smoother than the later reincarnations of the tube, but also a bit slower. Fantastic for vocals! If you find – get it, this is one of the smoothest 12at7 out there with great transparency and incredible sweetness in treble, but it’s not as liquid as Sylvania or Tung-Sol. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
