This review is going to be very sort. If you want to know how Tung-Sol 7236 sounds just read our review for Cetron 7236. It’s that simple. Structurally they extremely similar although Tung-sol that I have is from 1962 and Cetron is from 1978. Getter is a bit different (tung-sol has more coverage with the getter), but that’s about it. Sound is identical. The history goes that Cetron purchased Tung-sol and kept producing the tubes. So if your amp uses 6as7, give these tubes (Cetron or Tung-sol) a try – they are superb! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
