Great tube from Toshiba. Definitely beats all current production and NOS US made gray plates. Although it’s not as good as European short plates. The tube has very smooth and natural sound. Nice weight to music presentation, which is leaning towards Mullards, but at the same time exhibits gentleness and sweetness in mids that Amperex creates. Has a very unique tone to it. Overall a great tube. You should definitely try it – it might surprise you and become your tube of choice. Prices are very reasonable right now, but it’s hard to find the tubes. Recommended.
